About the role

ANZ is seeking a Banking Consultant to join its Balmain branch on a permanent, part‑time basis. You will deliver a seamless banking experience, helping customers meet their financial goals through personalised conversations, transaction support and digital education.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide end‑to‑end financial advice and product solutions aligned with each customer’s needs.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and in compliance with ANZ policies.
  • Engage customers through needs‑based conversations and promote digital banking channels.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service to turn clients into strong advocates for ANZ.
  • Support branch operations, including occasional Saturday shifts as required.

Required profile

  • Strong customer focus with a retail banking background preferred.
  • Ability to multi‑task, manage time effectively and work collaboratively.
  • Understanding of risk and compliance requirements in a banking environment.
  • Willingness to act as a peer coach and role model for colleagues.
