Management Accountant – Manufacturing (Remote, AU)

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant / Business Analyst to own financial reporting, management accounting and data analysis for a multi‑entity, multi‑currency global manufacturing business. The role is fully remote and supports the Auto/Automotive division across Australia and the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain weekly P&L outlook, sales forecasts and margin reports by business unit.
• Prepare monthly P&L statements, journal entries, accruals and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Produce corporate and divisional management packs, including environmental reporting.
• Review and update standard costs, transfer pricing and supplier/customer pricing.
• Run resin price sensitivity analysis and support quarterly budgeting cycles.
• Provide finance support to operations managers, perform inventory health checks and assist with costing and pricing of new items.
• Support system improvements, new software roll‑outs and ad‑hoc process improvement projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• CA or CPA qualification preferred.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing metrics such as BOM, routings and labour‑hours.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Prophix data management.
