Diversified Credit Advisor – Multiple Opportunities

About the role

As an Advisor in the Diversified Credit (Wholesale SME) team, you will deliver effective credit decisions, execute credit assessments and maintain portfolio quality. You will contribute to portfolio outcomes through consistent credit reviews, stakeholder engagement and building credit capability while supporting risk‑management practices. The role also oversees Credit Risk Infrastructure to help the business grow while managing credit risk.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake credit assessment and decision‑making, ensuring timely and effective portfolio quality management.
• Support, mentor and train colleagues to improve credit proposal quality and capability.
• Build stakeholder relationships and contribute to governance forums.
• Effectively communicate credit decisions to relevant parties.
• Ensure adherence to credit policies, risk culture and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Well‑developed credit assessment and analysis capability with an understanding of CAD processes.
• Solid understanding of credit policies and practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Ability to identify credit deterioration and manage portfolio risks.
