Tax Accountant

About the role

Our client is a boutique, growing accounting practice based in West Perth, seeking a Tax Accountant with 2‑3 years of experience to support their tax and business advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Work directly with clients, providing solutions on general tax matters.
• Assist in preparing cash‑flow forecasts and researching tax issues as required.
• Liaise with the ATO and other relevant bodies, building strong client relationships.
• Provide advice to a diverse client base.
• Manage and monitor staff performance, conduct reviews and deliver training sessions.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of Australian tax and business services experience.
• Partially CA/CPA qualified.
• Proven experience dealing directly with clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team mentality and ability to collaborate with peers.
