Store Manager – Penrith Store Launch

About the role

Lead the launch of Sports Direct's third NSW store in Penrith, driving sales, customer experience and team performance from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a premium, service‑focused approach to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Coach, train and set goals for a dynamic team, fostering a high‑performing culture.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly performance metrics and act on gaps.
• Control wages, create efficient rosters and manage visual merchandising, stock and shrink prevention.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive environment for staff and customers.

Required profile

• 2+ years store management experience in a fast‑paced big‑box retail environment.
• Strong commercial acumen – understanding of sales figures, wage percentages and stock metrics.
• Passion for people development with a proven record of team success.
• High attention to detail and operational savvy.
• Solution‑focused, performance‑driven mindset.
