Associate/Engagement Manager – Performance Transformation

About the role

Join Oliver Wyman’s Performance Transformation team in Melbourne and help shape and implement strategies that enable clients to overcome complex challenges and accelerate organisational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day client project delivery, managing relationships and commercial processes alongside Partners.
• Oversee complex programmes to ensure on‑time delivery, applying Oliver Wyman best practices and technical expertise.
• Guide clients as trusted advisors, influencing decisions across strategy execution and commercial negotiations.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to thought leadership across adjacent topics.
• Develop junior team members through coaching, project planning and workflow management.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in strategy or management consulting, preferably in a top‑tier firm.
• Background in Energy & Resources (Mining, Metals, Power, Utilities, Renewables) is a plus.
• Strong business acumen, problem‑solving ability and mature judgement.
• Proven leadership, mentoring and small‑team management experience.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.

• Commercial acumen to execute the commercial process.
