About the role

Join the brand‑new Sports Direct store in Penrith as a Full‑Time Sales Assistant. You will help deliver exceptional customer experiences and support the store’s opening and ongoing commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a small team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding service.
• Drive departmental KPIs, conversion rates and visual merchandising standards.
• Coach and develop team members through on‑the‑job training and feedback.
• Manage stock, process deliveries and handle click‑and‑dispatch orders.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Sales Assistant, Supervisor or Team Leader in retail.
• Strong customer‑service focus with a passion for streetwear, sports or sneaker culture.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Energetic, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
