About the role
Join Smokemart & Gift Box as a Sales Assistant in Penrith, delivering a fun and authentic shopping experience for customers. You will work in a busy, sales‑driven environment while supporting the company’s commitment to equality, diversity and internal career growth.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high levels of customer service and build strong rapport with shoppers.
- Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
- Develop and maintain solid product knowledge across all business pillars.
- Maintain store standards, assist with merchandising and visual presentation.
- Work towards budgets, sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Assist with stock control, quality management and inventory checks.
- Follow national legislation, WHS and security guidelines.
Required profile
- Passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Happy, friendly and energetic personality.
- Desire to deliver high‑quality customer service.
- Valid Police Check report required if successful in interview stage.
