Staff Specialist – General Medicine (0.5 FTE General + 0.5 FTE Subspecialty)

About the role

An outstanding opportunity for an experienced General Physician to join the collaborative medical team at Manning Base Hospital, offering a flexible mix of 0.5 FTE General Medicine and 0.5 FTE in a chosen subspecialty.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical services across general medical wards, ICU, HDU and Emergency Department.
• Contribute to a subspecialty area such as Geriatrics, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, Neurology or Gastroenterology, based on service needs and expertise.

Required profile

• Holds FRACP and specialist registration with AHPRA.
• Committed to high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a rural/regional setting.
• Thrives in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment and advocates for patients and the community.
