Registered Nurse – Bench Position in Defence Health

About the role

Serco is seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join a multidisciplinary team delivering primary healthcare to Defence members. The role is a permanent full‑time bench position, providing flexible clinical support across SQLD Defence Health Centres, primarily at Enoggera Health Centre in Brisbane.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality primary healthcare, including health assessments, vaccinations and low‑dependency ward care.
• Provide coverage for planned leave, unexpected absences, or periods of increased demand during business hours.
• Collaborate with general practitioners, physiotherapists, mental health clinicians and dental professionals.
• Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management and preventative care.

Required profile

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum one year experience in acute care, primary health care or a military setting.
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009).
• Australian citizenship (baseline security clearance) and commitment to CPD and ethical, patient‑centred care.
