Customer Care Officer

About the role

Join Genomic Diagnostics, part of Healius, as a Customer Care Officer. You will be the first point of contact for patients, clinicians and customers, delivering exceptional support across phone, email and online channels while contributing to positive patient experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries from patients, doctors and customers via multiple communication channels.
• Answer and triage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Provide administrative and case‑management support, processing test payments and documentation accurately.
• Maintain accurate records, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy compliance.
• Liaise with laboratory teams and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑focused role, preferably within healthcare.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine focus on customer care.
• Ability to follow procedures accurately and work independently when required.

Required skills

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of the Ultra (Triple G) system (advantageous).
