Senior PR & Marketing Manager (Life Sciences & Financial)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading life sciences organisation that invests in global medical research. The role is based in Melbourne CBD and involves leading PR and marketing initiatives for both external and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high‑quality communications across digital, media and stakeholder channels, translating complex scientific, investment and commercial information into clear stories.
• Work directly with C‑suite executives to ensure consistent and aligned communications.
• Support the Group Account Director in creating and managing corporate PR and media campaigns.
• Collaborate with senior account teams to develop PR strategies and new client/product offerings.
• Maintain and update media lists, building relationships with local and national corporate media.

Required profile

• Based in Melbourne with full working rights.
• Minimum five years of public relations experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape, especially in health, science, biotech or pharma sectors.
• Conceptual thinker, up‑to‑date with digital trends across web, mobile, audio, email and social platforms.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva.
• Experience using website CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
• Knowledge of event management systems.
