PR Account Manager – Tech, Govt, Retail, Insurance

About the role

We are partnering with a large, award‑winning PR & Communications agency that is rapidly growing. The role is based in Melbourne and focuses on corporate and consumer PR across technology, government, retail and insurance sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Group Account Director in developing and managing corporate PR and media campaigns.
• Work with senior account directors to create PR strategies and new client/product offerings.
• Liaise directly with C‑suite clients and develop engaging corp/consumer PR campaigns.
• Update media lists and maintain strong relationships with local and national corporate media.
• Identify and participate in external thought‑leadership opportunities to raise agency awareness.

Required profile

• Based in Melbourne, Australia.
• 3‑4+ years of public relations experience, preferably agency side.
• Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape and corporate client work.
• Conceptual thinker, up‑to‑date with digital trends across web, mobile, audio, email and social platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to craft clear presentation decks.
