Senior Manager – Director (Transaction Due Diligence)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading global advisory firm to hire senior professionals for their Transaction Due Diligence team. The role supports buy‑side, sell‑side and capital‑markets transactions across energy, resources and advanced manufacturing sectors in Australia and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver financial due diligence on acquisitions and investments.
• Analyse financial and operational performance of target businesses.
• Identify key value drivers, risks and growth opportunities.
• Prepare and review pro‑forma financials and deal insights.
• Support clients throughout the full transaction lifecycle (buy‑side, sell‑side, capital raising).
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary deal teams.

Required profile

• 5–10+ years of experience in transaction services, M&A or related fields.
• Background in corporate finance, audit (with transaction exposure) or restructuring.
• Experience in energy, resources or infrastructure sectors is highly regarded.
• Exposure to renewables, mining & metals, critical minerals, oil & gas, mining services or advanced manufacturing is beneficial.
• CA/ACA (or equivalent) qualification.
• Strong analytical, commercial and stakeholder‑management abilities.
