Senior Accountant – Client Onboarding & Service Delivery

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Senior Accountant to lead client onboarding and deliver ongoing accounting services for our fast‑growing accounting and bookkeeping firm. The role combines technical expertise with a passion for technology and automation to provide high‑quality financial advice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding of new clients, including discovery, setup, and transition.
• Analyse client financial data, business structures and reporting requirements.
• Establish accounting systems, processes and reporting templates tailored to each client.
• Coordinate with payroll, tax, bookkeeping and advisory teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Prepare and review monthly/quarterly management reports, reconciliations, BAS and financial statements.
• Provide proactive insights and recommendations for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Handle client queries and escalations professionally, maintaining strong long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar senior accounting role.
• CPA or CA qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.
