Senior Accountant – Business Services

About the role

BlueRock is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its public practice team in Melbourne. You will work with a diverse portfolio of entrepreneurial clients, providing tax consulting, strategic planning and financial modelling support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tax consulting services, including employee share schemes and restructuring advice.
• Support strategic business planning and financial forecasting for clients.
• Mentor and coach junior team members and graduates.
• Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, IAS and FBT filings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a mid‑tier accounting firm.
• Experience mentoring junior staff.
• Degree qualification and CA or CPA status (or near completion).
• Strong technical advisory skills in tax, budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and valuations.
