Senior Account Executive – Large Enterprise Public Sector

About the role

The Account Executive is a field sales role responsible for client retention and growth within Gartner's Large Enterprise Public Sector segment. You will build trust‑based relationships with C‑Level executives and ensure they receive the full value of Gartner services.

Key responsibilities

• Drive value delivery for existing Gartner clients, helping them maximize service benefits.
• Identify, cultivate, qualify and close growth opportunities through cross‑sell and upsell.
• Maintain a pipeline of high‑quality opportunities to meet sales KPIs and quota.
• Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Manage complex, high‑revenue sales across matrixed business environments.

Required profile

• 8‑12+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales environments.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling to or influencing C‑Level executives.
• Ability to own, manage and forecast a complex sales process.
• Willingness to travel as needed; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
