Key Account Manager – Mining

About the role

An international market leader in industrial infrastructure solutions is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to drive growth across Western Australia’s mining sector. This strategic, customer‑facing position focuses on building long‑term relationships with major mining asset owners, EPCM consultancies and tier‑one contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans across a portfolio of major mining clients and project stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with mining asset owners, EPCMs, engineering consultancies and contractors throughout Western Australia.
• Identify and pursue opportunities across greenfield projects, sustaining capital works and maintenance activities.
• Engage with clients during feasibility, FEED and design phases to influence specifications and secure early project involvement.
• Deliver value‑based solutions demonstrating reduced installation time, lower lifecycle costs and improved operational performance.
• Manage a structured pipeline of opportunities and maintain accurate CRM activity.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and technical specialists to deliver tailored solutions.
• Monitor project activity, market trends and competitor movements to identify new opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven track record in Key Account Management, Business Development or Technical Sales within mining, industrial or engineering sectors.
• Established relationships with mining asset owners, EPCMs and contractors across Western Australia.
• Strong understanding of capital projects, maintenance environments and specification‑based selling.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders from site personnel to executive leadership teams.
• Excellent commercial acumen and a consultative approach to solving customer challenges.
