About the role
This internship supports General Motors' Supply Chain and Sales teams in Melbourne, helping to drive effective wholesale and retail activities across the GMSV and Cadillac dealer network.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Supply Chain team with order requirements, new model additions, and forecast achievement.
- Provide high‑quality support to dealer inboxes, responding to 95% of queries within four business hours.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial rebate reports and issue schedules or correspondence to dealers.
- Analyse sales and financial KPI data, prepare reports, and support dealer training progress tracking.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Training, Finance, Aftersales, and Customer Care to ensure a One Team approach.
Required profile
- Partial completion of tertiary studies in Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Interest in the automotive industry and awareness of GM brands Chevrolet, GMC & Cadillac.
- Strong verbal and written communication, initiative, and ability to work autonomously.
