Associate/Engagement Manager – Performance Transformation

About the role

Join Oliver Wyman's Performance Transformation team in Sydney, helping clients shape and implement strategies that revolutionise their organisations. As an Engagement Manager you will lead client projects, manage complex programmes and act as a trusted advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership of client projects and manage client relationships and commercial processes.
• Lead and manage complex programmes to ensure on‑time delivery, leveraging Oliver Wyman best practices and technical competence.
• Guide and influence clients across execution, becoming a trusted advisor.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to thought leadership.
• Develop junior team members and support firm‑building activities.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in strategy and management consulting or business transformation, preferably in a top‑tier firm.
• Experience in Energy & Resources, especially Mining, Metals, Power, Utilities or Renewables.
• Strong business and commercial acumen with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and small‑team management skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Advanced project management capabilities, balancing competing priorities.
