Resort Manager – Lead a Historic Destination

About the role

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an experienced hospitality leader to head Club Wyndham Ballarat, a heritage‑listed resort set on 55 acres near Melbourne. You will drive overall performance, inspire a passionate team, and create memorable experiences for owners and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall operation and financial performance of the resort.
• Inspire, coach and develop a team committed to exceptional guest experiences.
• Build strong relationships with owners, guests, suppliers, local tourism partners and community stakeholders.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, presentation and asset management.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience within a hotel, resort or hospitality environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting and business performance.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ability to lead high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Hands‑on approach balancing strategic priorities and operational demands.
