Rehabilitation Consultant – Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist

About the role

Join WorkFocus Australia as a Rehabilitation Consultant, providing physiotherapy, occupational therapy or exercise physiology services to injured employees. You will help clients regain independence and return to work through comprehensive assessments and tailored programs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic and equipment evaluations.
• Identify return‑to‑work (RTW) barriers and design, implement and monitor programs that support injured employees in re‑entering the workforce.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve mutually appropriate outcomes.
• Develop strategies to progress cases, meet RTW benchmarks and minimise case costs.

Required profile

• Australian recognised degree and full accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy.
• Willingness to travel with a current vehicle and driver’s licence.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to high‑level customer service, punctuality and effective time management.

Required skills
