Registered Nurse – Oncology (Year 2‑8)

About the role

The Kinghorn Cancer Centre at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney is seeking a Registered Nurse (Year 2‑8) to provide evidence‑based nursing care to patients of all ages across a range of cancer specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to individuals, families and communities, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating outcomes in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate nursing and health‑care activities across care contexts, ensuring appropriate referrals and consultations with other health professionals and community services.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
• Experience in a specialty area, preferably administering anticancer therapies and/or cannulation.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with clinical practice, critical thinking and effective time management in a complex environment.
