Registered Nurse – Orthopaedic Ward

About the role

The Prince of Wales Hospital is seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join its Orthopaedic Ward. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering person‑centred, safe and high‑quality care to patients recovering from orthopaedic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Lead, support and supervise junior nurses and other care staff.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing practice accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board standards.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Midwife.
• Recent clinical experience in an orthopaedic setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to prioritise workload and uphold professional and ethical boundaries.

Required skills

• Proficiency in health information systems.
• Critical thinking and evidence‑based practice application.
