Registered Nurse – Day Procedure Centre

About the role

Join the Day Procedure Centre at St Vincent’s Public Hospital in Darlinghurst, providing pre‑operative admission and recovery for day‑only surgery patients. Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to individuals, families and communities of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
• Lead and coordinate patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and liaising with health professionals.
• Work independently and as part of a team, making clinical decisions and guiding enrolled nurses and healthcare workers.
• Accrue one additional day off per month.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Minimum 2 years post‑graduate experience in acute care settings.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time‑management skills.
• Ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with clinical practice and critical thinking.
