Manager Aboriginal Health Outcomes

About the role

The Manager Aboriginal Health Outcomes will work collaboratively with service providers across the district to reduce health inequities and address the health needs of Aboriginal communities within SESLHD.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the continuous review, update and development of strategies, programs, policies and projects to improve Aboriginal health outcomes.
• Provide leadership in health service planning, development, redesign and practice through engagement, consultation and scoping.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement service improvements responsive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander needs.

Required profile

• Aboriginal identification with demonstrated cultural capability and lived experience.
• Experience in developing, implementing or evaluating programs that improve Aboriginal health outcomes.
• Understanding of key challenges impacting Aboriginal health service delivery.

Required skills

• Leadership and strategic planning in health service delivery.
• Stakeholder engagement and consultation.
• Ability to analyse health data and translate insights into actionable programs.

• Salary $137,525 – $156,231 per annum plus superannuation.
