Account Manager – Creative Agency

About the role

Heads & Tales is seeking an Account Manager to manage a portfolio of B2B and B2C brands, acting as the day‑to‑day client contact and ensuring projects are delivered on brand, on budget and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain trusted relationships with clients, understanding their business and audience.
• Write clear briefs, set objectives, budgets and timelines for editorial, design, digital and production teams.
• Run work‑in‑progress meetings, status reports and approvals to keep projects on track.
• Quality‑check deliverables against brand, legal and accessibility standards before client hand‑over.
• Manage estimates, budgets, forecasts and invoicing using Productive and ProSpend, flagging scope creep early.
• Compile client performance reports and contribute ideas for account growth.
• Collaborate with internal studios, consultancy and sister agencies as needed.
• Leverage AI tools for research and admin while retaining final creative judgement.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on account or client management experience in a content, creative or integrated agency.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build trust and communicate transparently with clients.
• Comfort with financial tracking, estimates and forecasting.
• Proactive, able to juggle multiple projects in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Experience with agency workflow and finance tools such as Productive.
• Experience with ProSpend or similar budgeting software.
