Overnight Guest Service Agent

About the role

Join our Sofitel Adelaide team as an Overnight Guest Service Agent, providing personalised, attentive care to guests during night shifts. You will welcome guests, handle check‑ins and check‑outs, and support the Night Manager with reporting and audit tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, check‑in, respond to guest requests and settle accounts while delivering exceptional service.
• Assist the Night Manager in preparing reports, statistical information and night‑audit procedures.
• Balance Food & Beverage POS and credit‑card transactions and generate journal reports.
• Support other departments with overnight duties to ensure a positive guest experience.

Required profile

• Service‑focused personality with strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Prior night‑audit or front‑office experience.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
• Full Australian working rights and availability for nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating system.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Opera or a related Property Management System (PMS).
• Point‑of‑Sale (POS) transaction handling.
