Hotel Porter – Guest Services

About the role

Join the Sofitel Adelaide team as a Porter, delivering personalised and attentive service to every guest. You will be the first point of contact in the lobby, setting the tone for an exceptional stay and helping guests feel special throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome new and returning guests with a warm, personalised greeting.
• Assist with valet parking and safely transport luggage to and from rooms.
• Provide a brief orientation of the guest’s room and hotel facilities.
• Offer tailored recommendations about Adelaide attractions and services.
• Maintain a clean, orderly lobby area and uphold the brand’s standards of excellence.

Required profile

• Full driver’s licence with confidence driving both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Service‑focused personality and prior customer‑service experience.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
