Luxury Travel Consultant - Weddings and Honeymoons

About the role

Wedded Wonderland is looking for a Luxury Travel Consultant for its North Strathfield team. Consultants look after couples planning destination weddings, handling rooms, experiences and insurance for 50 to 100 guests, and also planning the couple's honeymoon. The role is full time, on site, on a rotating roster across a 7-day trade including weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Reach out to every enquiry received through the brand, events and venue and planner partners, via the CRM and social channels, then qualify, propose and confirm
• Build and help build luxury journeys and travel packages tailored to each client, working with travel and business suppliers and destination management companies
• Handle guest room blocks, experiences and travel insurance for the wedding party
• Plan the couple's honeymoon and anniversary trip, from first idea to last transfer
• Follow up with guests from one wedding who become the next couple

Required profile

• 5 or more years selling travel, with bookings you closed and values you can quote
• Premium or luxury travel experience: hotels, resorts, villas, honeymoons, groups or destination weddings
• Consultative approach, in person and on WhatsApp, email and phone
• Record of meeting sales or conversion targets
• Nice to have: destination wedding or group travel experience, a second language or knowledge of a wedding tradition, your own repeat clients or referral network, and a background in luxury concierge, luxury brands, media, PR or destination tourism agencies

Required skills

• Booking systems such as GDS, wholesale platforms or a CRM
• Conversion to bookings
