Legal Compliance Associate

About the role

Join a leading ASX‑listed investment manager as a Legal Compliance Associate, reporting to the General Counsel. You will support day‑to‑day legal and compliance activities across a $17.6 billion funds portfolio, working closely with senior stakeholders in Australia and overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report on compliance matters, ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations.
• Assist with legal document review, contract support and policy development.
• Conduct marketing and disclosure reviews, and support AML/KYC activities.
• Prepare board reports and manage investment compliance tasks.
• Handle international regulatory issues and contribute to cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years experience in legal & compliance within funds management or superannuation.
• Law, Commerce or related degree.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with a willingness to learn.
• RG146 or other compliance qualifications are advantageous.
• Full Australian working rights.
