About the role
KPMG’s Office of General Counsel is seeking a versatile in‑house lawyer to support a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, regulatory issues, and dispute management. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel to protect the firm’s interests and drive business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate general contracts and commercial agreements.
- Review new product and service offerings for legal compliance.
- Provide legal advice on tender documents and client service proposals.
- Liaise with business units and external counsel on regulatory matters.
- Assist in the management and resolution of potential disputes.
Required profile
- Experience negotiating general commercial contracts.
- Background in litigation, disputes, or reputation matters.
- Exposure to corporate law matters.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, commercial approach to problem solving.
- Admitted lawyer with a current practising certificate.
