Legal Professionals (Mid-Senior Level)

About the role

Hire Resolve is partnering with legal organisations across Australia to recruit experienced legal professionals for mid‑senior level positions. The roles span a variety of practice areas and in‑house functions, offering clear pathways to senior specialist and leadership positions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercially focused legal advice on operational and strategic matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts and legal documents.
• Support corporate, employment, regulatory, dispute, compliance, privacy, procurement and property matters.
• Manage external counsel, budgets and timelines while overseeing legal risk assessments.
• Contribute to compliance programmes, policy development and governance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) and admission as an Australian lawyer (or eligibility for a practising certificate).
• 5–12+ years of progressive legal experience in‑house or private practice, with demonstrated expertise in at least one specialised area.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to manage competing deadlines independently while maintaining confidentiality.
