Business Development Specialist – Water Solutions

About the role

The Business Development Specialist will build connections, understand customer needs, and identify growth opportunities across mining, industrial, power generation and municipal sectors in WA, NT and SA.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture strong relationships across the assigned segment and region.
• Identify and develop opportunities that support business growth and customer success.
• Partner with consulting engineers, specifiers, project stakeholders and industry networks.
• Lead engagement activities with engineering consultancy firms and EPC organisations.
• Collaborate with sales teams to generate and convert high‑quality opportunities.
• Gather and share customer, market and competitor insights to inform business strategy.

Required profile

• Curiosity, commercial awareness and a genuine interest in building trusted, long‑term customer relationships.
• Experience in business development, sales, consulting, engineering or other customer‑focused roles, preferably within mining, water, infrastructure or industrial markets.
