Head of Sales

About the role

Lead the sales function for LawY, a legal‑tech platform helping 90,000+ lawyers reclaim time with AI. You will build the team from scratch, own revenue growth and shape the go‑to‑market strategy in a fast‑moving, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive revenue growth from day one, creating a repeatable sales process for solo practitioners, small firms, in‑house legal teams and adjacent professional services.
• Lead the full sales cycle – prospecting, discovery, closing and handover – while becoming an expert on lawyers’ workflows and AI adoption.
• Build and scale the sales function, establishing systems, processes, operating rhythms and playbooks to support expansion.
• Train, mentor and grow the sales team, fostering a high‑performance culture that balances commercial drive with customer outcomes.
• Refine go‑to‑market strategy, partner with marketing and product, and own forecasting, pipeline management and reporting.
• Represent LawY at industry events and build relationships that generate referrals and long‑term partnerships.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SaaS/Digital product sales teams, preferably in a startup environment.
• Track record of personally closing deals, improving retention and building sales processes from the ground up.
• Experience selling to professional services clients such as lawyers, accountants or consultants.
• Hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate without an established playbook.

• HubSpot CRM proficiency.
