Business Manager ANZ

About the role

The Business Manager ANZ will lead the pharma business unit for Australia and New Zealand, driving sales growth, managing working capital and strengthening relationships with key suppliers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute country business plan and sales strategy to achieve targets.
• Manage working capital, including inventory and customer payment collection.
• Lead the sales team to meet annual sales goals and drive commercial excellence initiatives.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key suppliers and customers.
• Produce CRM reports, sales forecasts and regular performance reports for suppliers and management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities.
• Recruit, select and develop staff in line with staffing plans and ensure competitive remuneration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales management, preferably within pharma or chemical distribution.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to lead and develop a sales team.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to analyse market trends and translate them into actionable business plans.
• Experience in managing working capital, inventory and payment collection.
