Glasurit Field Technician

About the role

The Glasurit Field Technician (Technical Sales Representative) implements technical, colour and digital solutions for customers, supports sales acquisition, and develops distributor technical teams across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular customer and distributor visits, meeting sales objectives and action plans.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical, colour, and training support to customers and distributors.
• Conduct new customer acquisition demos, showcasing digital and colour solutions.
• Implement digital and colour solutions (including Refinity) for all assigned customers.
• Identify painter skill gaps, deliver onsite training, resolve complaints, and perform technical vehicle inspections.
• Execute system conversions, customer trainings, and technology transfers while identifying improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Automotive Refinish or equivalent spray painter qualification.
• Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training (preferred).
• At least 6 years of refinish industry experience.
• Experience in coaching, development and delivering information to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of modern automotive refinish materials and digital colour solutions.
• Ability to update Customer Skills Assessment and Sales Force databases.
