Flagship MECCAVERSITY Manager

About the role

The MECCA Bourke St Flagship, one of the world's largest beauty destinations, is looking for a Flagship MECCAVERSITY Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role leads the delivery of events, education and immersive experiences in the MECCAVERSITY auditorium, bringing together customers, brands and key partners. It works across the MECCA Support Centre and the Bourke St Flagship.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the MECCAVERSITY, Support Centre and Bourke St teams to plan and deliver events, activations and immersive experiences.
• Lead and inspire the team to curate and present engaging, educational and memorable experiences.
• Oversee end-to-end operational execution, including production, safety and customer experience.
• Drive commercial performance by aligning the team to key performance indicators.
• Promote continuous improvement through feedback, creative problem-solving and agility.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in event management, activations or experiential environments, with a track record of delivering high-quality experiences.
• Strong people leadership skills, able to inspire teams and drive performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in event production, AV coordination, operational execution, administration and workplace health and safety.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills, working with brands, partners and cross-functional teams.
• Solutions-focused mindset, strong organisation and commercial awareness, able to adapt under pressure.

Work arrangement

Hybrid work across the Support Centre and the Bourke St Flagship, including late-night and weekend shifts during peak trade.
