Internal Sales - Electrical Wholesale

About the role

Rexel Electrical Supplies, part of Rexel Australia, is a distributor of electric and energy-efficient products and services with over 1,900 branches in 21 countries. Rexel Bendigo is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Internal Sales team member to join its branch following an internal promotion. The role is based in a regional centre in Victoria and involves building local customer relationships and growing your career within a global organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service to electrical trades, businesses and commercial customers
• Answer customer enquiries in person, by phone and by email
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotes
• Follow up quotes and turn enquiries into sales
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships
• Support the external sales team and collaborate with the wider branch

Required profile

• Ideally experience in internal sales, customer service, account support, retail, trade counter or a similar customer-facing role
• Proactive, organised and confident communicator who takes pride in following through on commitments
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment and attention to detail on quotes and orders
• Positive, reliable, solutions-focused attitude and willingness to learn a long-term sales career
• Experience in electrical wholesale, trade supply, construction, industrial products or a related industry is highly regarded but not essential

• Confidence using computer systems and learning new product ranges
