Territory Manager - Victoria (Diabetes Devices)

About the role

MiniMed, part of Medtronic's Diabetes business, is hiring a Territory Manager for Victoria, covering South East Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and Gippsland. The role leads the territory strategy and builds partnerships with healthcare professionals to grow sales of diabetes products. The company is separating its Diabetes division into an independent entity.

Key responsibilities

• Foster and develop partnerships with key healthcare professionals in the territory
• Maintain clinical knowledge of the diabetes product portfolio and educate stakeholders and patients
• Support patients before, during and after purchase, ensuring an excellent patient experience
• Achieve sales revenue and growth targets for the assigned territory
• Lead and manage territory strategy to meet quarterly and annual AOP targets
• Identify new and existing business opportunities and open private pathways and other growth routes
• Travel within the assigned region and other regions as required

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in diabetes
• Proven clinical and technical knowledge of diabetes
• Sales experience or knowledge of account planning, territory management and forecasting in devices or healthcare
• Ability to build strong clinical and business relationships with customers
• Understanding of hospital and clinic operations and key influencers
• Valid driver's licence
