Head of eCommerce Partnerships

About the role

Australia Post is looking for a Head of eCommerce Partnerships within its eCommerce Growth division, part of the Parcels, Post & eCommerce Services business. You will lead and expand an established portfolio of relationships with leading and emerging platforms, turning opportunities in recommerce, second-hand marketplaces and digital commerce into commercial growth. The role reports to the General Manager – eCommerce Growth and works closely with senior leaders across Product, Technology, Digital and Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and evolve Australia Post's eCommerce partnerships strategy across established and emerging digital commerce ecosystems.
• Strengthen relationships with major marketplaces, commerce platforms and technology providers.
• Identify opportunities in recommerce, social commerce and digital marketplaces.
• Develop commercial models and alliances that create new revenue streams and strengthen market position.
• Work with Product, Technology and Digital to embed delivery solutions into partner platforms.
• Shape investment priorities through commercial business cases and partnership performance insights.
• Represent Australia Post at senior industry and executive forums.
• Lead and develop a team focused on sustainable commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Accomplished commercial leader with extensive senior leadership experience in strategic partnerships, commercial alliances, ecosystem development or business development.
• Proven track record of growing high-value partnership portfolios and delivering revenue growth.
• Experience in digital platforms, marketplaces, technology businesses, eCommerce or similar partnership-led environments.
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Strategy, Technology or a related discipline.

Required skills

• Strong commercial acumen, including complex negotiations, investment proposals, partnership agreements and financial performance management.
• Executive-level influence and stakeholder engagement.
• Deep understanding of emerging digital commerce models and platform ecosystems.
