Financial Accountant

About the role

Join PepsiCo’s Finance team at the Forrestfield site as a Financial Accountant. You will be part of a global FMCG leader, providing accurate financial reporting that supports strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Process financial information into the accounting system, including month‑end entries and journal postings.
• Prepare the general ledger to trial balance and produce monthly financial accounts.
• Control regional and corporate financial reporting requirements.
• Manage inventory, debtor, and creditor databases.
• Support annual audit activities and liaise with external auditors.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification with a major in Accounting.
• Preferably a CA or CPA designation.
• Experience with computerized accounting systems, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all organisational levels.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Experience using computerized accounting software.
