Finance Business Partner

About the role

This position serves as a strategic finance partner for a global FMCG market, driving data‑backed decisions that enable sustainable and profitable growth. You will own end‑to‑end financial planning, forecasting and performance management while ensuring strong alignment between the market and headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance partner to the market GM and leadership teams, translating strategy into financial roadmaps and actionable insights.
• Lead margin expansion initiatives through mix management, productivity projects and Net Revenue Realization excellence.
• Evaluate ROI of acquisition, marketing, trade spend and capital investments, and support data‑driven commercial decisions.
• Own the market’s annual operating plan, monthly forecasts and long‑term planning, leveraging analytics to improve accuracy.
• Conduct market performance reviews, highlight risks and opportunities, and drive corrective actions.
• Manage the Australia P&L, gross margin and NOPBT margins, and optimise working capital and cash flow.
• Serve as the key finance interface with HQ, ensuring consistent reporting, governance and support for transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience translating financial data into business insights and supporting strategic decision‑making.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and scenario planning.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and challenge commercial decisions with data.
• Experience in FMCG or consumer‑goods environments is preferred.
