Commercial Manager

About the role

SRG Global is expanding its team in Subiaco, WA and seeks an experienced Commercial Manager. Reporting to the Executive General Manager Corporate Services, you will provide commercial advice, support strategic decision‑making and help reduce commercial risk across the contract lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client and supplier pre‑contract activities, including risk assessment, commercial review and negotiation.
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle, managing claims, disputes and subcontractor engagements.
• Develop and deliver commercial and contract training for internal stakeholders.
• Implement risk‑management systems to identify and monitor commercial and financial risks.
• Promote robust commercial controls and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and other external parties.
• Conduct financial/commercial evaluations for capital expenditures, major initiatives and maintenance programs.
• Support business units in budget and forecast preparation and analyse financial trends.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Law, Finance, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Extensive experience in contracting within civil, construction or resources environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and communication abilities.
• Highly developed analytical capabilities and experience with cost modelling and CAPEX analysis.
• Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and adapt to changing priorities.
