Key Account Manager

About the role

PFD is looking for a commercially‑driven Key Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of multi‑site food service customers. The role blends sales, contract management and pricing to deliver tailored solutions and strengthen long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop a portfolio of key and multi‑site accounts, driving sales growth, contract renewal and profitability.
• Design and execute structured account plans, including pricing reviews, rebates and quarterly business reviews.
• Build strong relationships across customer networks – procurement, chefs and operational stakeholders.
• Lead tender processes, negotiate outcomes with customers and suppliers, and manage margin targets.
• Identify growth opportunities through data analysis, market insights and reporting.
• Maintain disciplined CRM planning, call cycles and follow‑up actions to support account performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Key Account Management or corporate/FMCG sales with complex or multi‑site customers.
• Strong knowledge of food service products; chef background is a plus.
• Excellent commercial acumen in pricing, contracts, tenders and margin management.
• Highly organised with strong planning, time‑management and attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
