Commercial Finance Business Partner

About the role
This position is a key Commercial Business Partner role within the Finance & Strategy function, supporting Enabling Functions business units. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will provide high‑quality financial insights, reporting and analysis to enable effective decision‑making and strong financial outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly performance analysis, variance commentary and business unit insights.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes to meet business unit and Group reporting requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders across Enabling Functions to manage costs, perform financial analysis and inform decisions.
- Develop financial models for initiatives such as tenders, restructures and benefit tracking.
- Support audit processes and regulatory compliance, ensuring strong governance.
- Contribute to shared services and technology cost allocation methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting, processes and data quality.
- Provide ad‑hoc analysis, technical accounting assessments and support strategic initiatives.
Required profile
- CA/CPA qualified with experience in accounting and finance roles within mid‑to‑large, complex organisations.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial business partnering.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capability with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working across both financial control and commercial finance environments.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements and drive efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders.
