Commercial Business Partner

About the role

Serco is seeking a Commercial Business Partner to provide finance and commercial leadership for a portfolio of services at Fiona Stanley Hospital. You will work closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders to ensure contracts are commercially sound, financially sustainable and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Drive profitability and efficiency through financial planning, analysis and governance.
• Lead contract initiatives, pricing activities, contract variations and profit‑improvement plans.
• Manage commercial and financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support General Managers and Service Line Leads with commercial advice and financial decision‑making.
• Ensure contract compliance, business controls and continuous improvement of financial processes.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders to deliver sustainable outcomes.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification and tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Law or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years post‑qualification experience in a commercial or finance role within government, facilities management or healthcare.
• Strong experience in contract negotiation and administration, including Australian Standard contracts.
• Advanced analytical, commercial and financial modelling skills with the ability to provide meaningful business insights.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Inclusive, consultative approach with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.
