Chefs - Casual, Part-Time and Full-Time

About the role

The Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort & Convention Centre, part of the Accor network, is calling for passionate chefs to join its culinary team. The resort sits in Twin Waters and has over 370 guest rooms, leisure facilities and a Food & Beverage operation serving restaurants, banquets and large-scale events. A $20 million refurbishment is underway, and the job is open to casual, part-time and full-time positions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality food across restaurant, banqueting and event services
• Work across a variety of menus and styles of service
• Support the delivery of conferences, weddings and large-scale events
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
• Work with the wider kitchen and Food & Beverage teams
• Follow food safety, HACCP and WHS standards
• Help with preparation, stock rotation and keeping the kitchen organised

Required profile

• Relevant culinary qualifications or previous commercial kitchen experience
• Genuine passion for food and hospitality
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team
• Attention to detail and good communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
