Carpenter – Remote Villages, 7/7 Roster (Queensland)

About the role

Civeo Australia is seeking a qualified Carpenter to join its Asset & Facilities Maintenance team in remote accommodation villages across regional Queensland. Based in Coppabella, you will work on a lifestyle‑friendly 7 days on / 7 days off roster, with FIFO or DIDO options available.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive, planned and preventative carpentry maintenance across village infrastructure.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on buildings and related assets.
• Undertake general construction, refurbishment and repair tasks.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and work orders to prepare layouts and materials.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, legislative, safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers for repairs and installations.
• Support broader maintenance activities and participate in on‑call or after‑hours duties as required.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent trade qualification).
• Current Class C (manual) driver’s licence.
• Demonstrated experience in maintenance, fault finding and repair work.
• Experience in remote villages, mining or high‑volume service environments preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
