Business Development Manager – Modular & Prefabricated Building Solutions

About the role

This position sells modular and prefabricated building solutions, working early in project lifecycles with developers, architects, consultants and government stakeholders across residential, commercial, education and community sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with developers, architects, consultants, government and other project stakeholders.
• Identify early‑stage projects and engage before specifications are finalised.
• Lead commercially‑focused conversations around design, feasibility, cost, compliance and delivery.
• Develop opportunities from initial enquiry through proposal, tender and conversion.
• Collaborate with internal design, estimating and project teams to craft suitable solutions.
• Prepare and present proposals, expressions of interest and tender responses.
• Represent the business at industry events and expand market network.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development, project sales or consultative sales within construction or related sectors.
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.
• Strong commercial drive with a passion for winning new business.
• Ability to operate autonomously while working closely with technical and project teams.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of construction, design, planning and compliance processes.
• Capability to discuss technical aspects of modular solutions with confidence.
